AWS Solutions Architect Associate

The AWS Solutions Architect Associate Cours” is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the components and operation of the core AWS services as well as how those services properly interact. Successful course completion will prepare students for the AWS SAA-CO3 Exam, which is the requirement to achieve the “AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate” Certification.
The course includes practical discussions, exercises, and practice exam questions to assist students in the application of the knowledge gained (Classroom Component), as well as requiring students perform a series of exercises independently (Independent Study Component). The focus of this Course is:
- The design of cost & performance optimized solutions
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
Course Duration
- 40 Total Running Classroom Hours
- Daytime (Standard) Format = 5 Days (8 hours per day)
- Evening / Short Format
- 10 each – 4 Hour Evening Sessions (VILT Delivery)
- 8 each – 5 Hour Evening Sessions (VILT Delivery)
- 27 CPE Hours
- 2 Semester-Hours Equivalent
Course Objectives
This course assists the student in developing expertise in architecting, designing, building, deploying and managing AWS Cloud Solutions. It is the appropriate starting point on the AWS Certification path. To that end, the course targets the following major objectives:
- Demonstrating knowledge and skills in compute, networking, storage, and database AWS services as well as AWS deployment and management services
- Demonstrating knowledge and skills in deploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS as well as implementing security controls and compliance requirements
- Demonstrating knowledge and skills in using the AWS Management Console and the AWS Command Line Interface
- Demonstrating understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework, AWS networking, security services, and the AWS global infrastructure
- Demonstrating ability to identify which AWS services meet a given technical requirement and to define technical requirements for an AWS-based application
Who Should Attend
The AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Course will assist individuals who may possess the following:
- Some experience in AWS technology (or other Cloud Services)
- Strong on-premises IT experience and an understanding of mapping on-premises to cloud
- Experience working in other cloud services
